After having decided to have a portrait created of your pet, you should give some thought as to how you
might want the art work to actually look. You probably have an emotional image of your pet appearing in a certain way that
represents your pet to you. This is an important step as the portrait can only be as good as your input. Photographs will be a great help in designing and creating a likeness. Helpful photographs include a favorite pose
to base the drawing on and some supporting images referencing the look and details of your pet. These photos should be as
clear as possible, although I realize that in some instances, this may not be possible. After an initial e-mail, the pose
and other details can be worked out.
